Complex knee injuries - the difficult knee

Acquisizione competenze di processo:Complex knee injuries are a condition in which there is a damage to two or more knee ligaments and are caused typically either by sports injuries or by a “high impact trauma,” such as a fall from a high place, a motor vehicle collision or an industrial accident. Despite the increasing numbers of multiligamentous injury we have been facing in the last decade, these injuries are still misdiagnosed or badly treated, due to the lack of experience and knowledge. The target of the course is to define approach, evaluation, diagnosis to management. Our understanding of complex knee injuries is still evolving despite volumes of research and literature, and much is to be learned and discussed.
